I have an extensive marketing and technical writing background rooted in my 20 years of business consulting, particularly for entertainment marketing and advertising. As long as I’ve worked with web technologies, I have curated content to couple to those technologies. Beyond the web, I have written for all media: TV, radio, print, and digital, and I have strong experience straddling divergent content needs for divergent platforms.
Strong marketing copy needs to be coupled with strong understanding of user behavior in order to maximize audience engagement. I have managed the content strategy for new website launches, new product launches, and A/B testing for user response in multiple industries. Coupling content strategy with tandem skills in SEO, e-commerce, and analytics repeatedly leads to 10x ROI or more.
I bring expert graphic and multimedia design experience from two decades in music and entertainment. I have a working knowledge of most Adobe Creative Suite software and I am able to produce assets without art departments when necessary.
I have extensive experience with most consumer grade CMSs, including: WordPress, SquareSpace, Wix, Joomla, and more. I am currently a content lead with a team of five and a training cohort of twelve for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
I may not have the most well known client pool ever, but here are some facts about their SEO performance with me:
I keep a close community of other SEO experts (and some of them get their kicks reading ALL the Google best practices).
I have implemented and managed e-commerce solutions for multiple clients. From simple drop shipping solutions, to custom appointment scheduling, to novel payment gateways for new fan experiences, I have managed e-commerce for all types of goods and services; many stretching to multi-million dollars in total sales.
Analytics is by far my weakest area for web techologies expertise.
That said, I have worked in many instances of Google analytics for creating basic click funnels, running simple A/B tests, and coupling trends analysis from websites with broader business analysis for forecasting and opportunity tuning.
I am familiar with the basics for setup and dashboard administration for Google Analytics.
I have had clients whose customer base brought with it a higher need for usability assurance. Many audiences I have served are using adaptive web technologies.
As you see to your left, I will often at least include a toolbar for adaptive usability and I am aware of the broader WCAG principles when clients’ needs drift into more custom tailored solutions. I always work to help my clients websites remain 508 compliant to the best of the project’s ability and needs.
